This tuner app features two modes: the Instrument Tuner and the Chromatic Tuner.

• The Instrument Tuner allows you to visualize the target notes for your selected instrument and tuning. Stringed instruments are greatly benefited by this feature. For instance, if you choose standard guitar tuning, it will display the notes EADGBE on the tuner. If you prefer drop D tuning, it will show DADGBE instead. Similarly, for a violin tuner, it will indicate GDAE. To check if you're in tune, just play each string, and the tuner will promptly identify whether you've hit the right note. The app includes built-in tunings for commonly used instruments like banjo, bass (4, 5, and 6 string), cello, double bass, guitar (including 7 string), ukulele, viola, and violin. If your instrument or preferred tuning is not included, you can easily create your own within the app. Simply drop us an email if you would like your tuning to be added to the existing selection.
• The Chromatic Tuner mode displays the closest note to what is currently being played. If you play an A, it instantly shows an A. This mode is especially useful for instruments with a wide range of notes, such as the piano. It may also be preferred by stringed instrument players who frequently switch between different tunings, like guitarists. With this feature, you can quickly tune your guitar from standard to drop D without needing to interact with the app, as long as it remains visible on your screen. The choice of mode depends on personal preference.

Pitched Tuner and Pitch Pipe showcases a classic tuner needle and dial, providing you with a clear visual representation of the frequency being played, as well as the nearest note and error in cents – one cent being equivalent to one hundredth of a semitone. The dial simplifies tracking small pitch variations, while a separate volume indicator informs you of how efficiently the microphone captures your instrument's sound amidst different environmental noise levels.
